The day finally came…end of a long wait!! Though the excitement was tremendous, I had a long day of travel. A fast track recap of my journey (alone for the second time now)…Hmmm… there’s some thing with my International travel, the first time too I had to travel alone to the destination. Anyways, here it is:
9:00 left the house, reached Pune Airport around 9.30..luggage scanning…checked in…dad calls.. flight right time 11.10, wait for an hour… (went to the coffee shop..coffee machine not working L) … dad calls…went to the first floor…flight announced…boarded the flight… 15 minutes…reached Santacruz Mumbai…11.45..took a coach from there to the Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport…reached CSIA 1.00. flight to Bahrain was at 5.40 pm..loong wait…dad calls… wait…lunch..dad calls…wait..2.30… dad calls…3.00…luggage scan.. checked in…immigration.. security check…3.45…dad calls….wait..iPod for the rescue…watched Ratatouille…4.45..coffee (finally!)…wait..flight announced..dad calls… boarded… 5.40… take off… family with 3 small (racket making) children.. noise… wait…6.30 pm (9.00 pm India) lands!!! J
Some spices to add to the taste:
Pune Airport 10.50: took the coffee..flight announced…had to throw the coffee without even sipping it once 
Jet Airways: A co-traveller sat on my seat..air hostess mediates
CSIA: 2 maids came running to me shouting “Dipti! Dipti!” were trying to tell me how Dipti’s boyfriend is crying out there to meet her!! (They were trying to convince me that I am Dipti!!! Gosh!! Mind your own business!!)
Gulf Airways: I ended up baby-sitting one of the 3 three children from the family next to me :-O ;P
